It is an honor to have you here.
A little background …
I am a wife to an amazing husband and father. We celebrated 31 years of adventure this year. I am homeschooling mom. My homeschool journey has been one of the hardest yet most rewarding endeavors that I have undertaken. I have graduated 2 children and have two more years left with our youngest. I am also an artist, crafter, and life-long learner. I love to make music with my family, garden, and soak up every bit of summer that I can.
I have been a crafter my whole life! Starting from the tender age of 5 when my grandmothers taught me how to do plastic canvas weaving, with knitting and crocheting following closely behind. Eventually, scraps of material and the odd bits and bobs were stitched into all kinds of wonders for my dolls and stuffed animals.
Over the years, I have tried nearly every handicraft available. Sorry, oil paint, you are not on my to-learn list. After our second move across the globe, I decided to narrow my focus, to watercolor and pointed pen. Although, some days I find it hard to resist some of my old favorites. On those days you can find me with a crochet hook or knitting needles in hand working away on some long forgotten project.
Here in the studio, I plan to share products and services as they become available, the highs and lows of learning … whether it is a new painting technique, alphabet, or allergy-free recipe, and tips and tricks I pick up along the way as I grow as an artist and modern calligrapher.
Thank you for taking part in my journey. Your support truly means the world to me.
I’m so excited to have you along on this adventure.
Blessings,
Kim
